 Grant Programs

A grant is an award of financial assistance to a recipient to carry out a public service of support or simulation authorized by law.  To facilitate transparency and fiscal responsibility, all grants issued from the Division of Criminal Justice Services are on a reimbursement basis only.  The Division's grants are not benefits or entitlements, nor are they loans to individuals.  DCJS is committed to helping state and local units of governments and private-non-profit entities develop meaningful programs, achieve goals, serve clients and promote public safety.
